Natural star Nani’s yesterday’s release Middle-Class Abbayi has opened up well at all the released regions with minimum expectations. Let us see the small size havoc this flick has created at the box office.
The combination of an in-form hero like Nani and successful producer like Dil Raju has already proved to be the best one with their projects. Their third in the row, MCA too did its work prior to the release in the name of promotions. Also, the entertaining trailer and DSP’s catchy tunes pulled the audience to the theatres yesterday. The result is the highest opening collections in the career of Nani until now. The movie collected a worldwide gross of 15.2 crores thereby beating his previous films with a huge margin. Just from the two Telugu states, this flick collected 10 crores of gross. Coming to the distributor shares, the flick collected in a total of 10.3 crores including 7 crores from domestic and 3 crores from the overseas. Despite being a family drama with mass touch, overseas has given a solid start as the movie raked in $300 K from 120+ locations on an opening day. However, the mouth talk is not on par with the collections but the festival long weekend might help this flick in a big way.
Directed by Venu Sriram, this movie is bankrolled by Sirish and Laxman under the presentation of Dil Raju. Sai Pallavi is the female lead and Bhoomika portrayed a crucial role. Music is scored by Anup Rubens.
