The flicks of two young heroes MCA and Hello were released simultaneously on 21st and 22nd days of January. After completing the long weekend, the figures and performances of these two flicks tell us a clear winner.
Natural Star Nani’s Middle-Class Abbayi despite routine screenplay and predictable story amazed audience with Nani’s presence. The flick scored big in all the released areas. The movie collected a worldwide share of 25 crores in five days. From the two Telugu states, the flick generated a revenue of 20.1 crores until Monday night. Whereas the flick Hello despite very good reviews only impressed the multiplex audience. This feel-good love story delivered by top-notch technicians collected 10.5 crores from the two Telugu states. At the overseas, the movie collected almost 5 crores for its classy love tale. So the collections clearly indicate Nani’s MCA is the winner of Christmas long weekend and mass flicks always do magic at the box office. But on the other hand, Akhil impressed all and answered his critics with impeccable overall performance as a hero.
Both these flicks have scored big at the overseas. MCA and Hello are inching closer to the magical mark of one million dollars in the US, which is a good sign to the Telugu Film Industry’s business. As both these flicks got diluted a bit, Young Allu hero is releasing his flick Okka Kshanam tomorrow to utilize New Year Eve.
