Mega daughter opens up on Rangasthalam costumes

Mega elder daughter Susmitha has become one of the top costume designers in Tollywood recent times. She has opened up about her current mega projects.

Susmitha being the first kid of megastar Chiranjeevi always stayed low-key in the industry. After completing her specialization from fashion designing, she worked for a couple of her father’s flicks and finally gave up everything for the family. Her second innings started when his brother Charan asked her help for the mega come back flick Khaidi No: 150 for which she got huge applause from all corners. Also, her work for Meelo Yevaru Koteswarudu showcased Chiru in his most classy avatars in every episode. All these works have made her bag two big projects.

One is Charan’s Rangasthalam and the other is the most prestigious Sye Raa. Susmitha in a recent interaction with a media giant revealed that working with her brother Charan is more than comfortable as Charan was like his best friend. She revealed that the character demanded 80’s styling for which they failed to find costumes. So she along with her team shopped almost 50 ethnic lungis in local shops at the Godavari city of Rajamahendravaram and around villages. On the other hand, she feels that Sye Raa is quite challenging as the costumes date back to 18th century. Susmitha will get more applause once these flicks get released.
