Soon after the controversies of “Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu” and “Denikaina Ready”, one more film which was released recently caught the fire of controversy. Maruthi’s “Bus Stop” which was released yesterday triggered SFI members.
“Bus Stop” was primarily targeted towards youngsters and this was revealed clearly to the public my Maruthi. This film has adult comedy and Maruthi felt that it would attract youngsters. But the levels of adult content made SFI (Students Federation of India) leaders turn against this film. They fired on the “Bus Stop” film makers for misleading youngsters with their films.
SFI members protested against this film in RTC Cross Roads yesterday. They shouted few slogans against Censor Board for allowing such films. It takes some more time to know the actual intensity of this protest.
