One of the most prestigious universities in Andhra Pradesh, Osmania University took a stunning decision to debar 30,000 students. It seems that these students are not having minimum percentage of attendance to write the examinations.
Out of 1 lakh students, only 70,000 students are having proper attendance and hence they were provided hall tickets to write the examination. Due to various reasons, these 30,000 members didn’t attend the college sessions and the officials of Osmania University took this issue quite seriously by not allowing them to sit for exams.
There were few political issues involved in this issue. Due to Telangana movement, few students missed classes and due to few health related issues few students failed to go for the sessions. Officials of OU made it clear that the students who were eliminated bunked classes just for personal reasons. Let’s see how far this issue goes. Stay tuned for more updates.
