It took more than 2 years for the Opposition party YSRCP MLA’s to enter the future capital of Andhra Pradesh Amaravati at last. The MLA’s team lead by the senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has visited the Secretariat yesterday.
After announcement and planning, it took more than 2 years to construct the new Secretariat. Whatever, now the complete A.P government is working fine at the new Secretariat at Velagapudi. In these 2 nd half years span, none of the leaders or Ministers has ever visited the new capital officially. Finally, a group of MLA’s lead by Ramachandra Reddy has visited and inspected the newly constructed Assembly Hall for the new A.P State. They have inspected every inch and corner in the entire premises of new Secretariat with tight security.
After their inspection, the MLA Peddireddy has spoken to the media about their visit. He said that their party leader has never stepped in Velagapudi because they were not happy with the CBN’s ruling. He added that the TDP government has been taking decisions all by itself without discussing with the opposition, which has too many members in Assembly to ignore.
The MLA then clarified that another purpose of the visit was they have met the Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu for sanctioning funds to their respective constituencies for development. Interesting thing is that the Opposition leader YSRCP Supreme Y.S Jagan is yet to visit Amaravati. However, the analysts think that Jagan has sent these MLA’s to have a clear idea about the ongoing things at new capital.
