Most hyped the costliest flick of Prince Mahesh Babu, Spyder has finished its complete theatrical run in all the released areas. The obtained figures from the trade trackers reveal shocking losses of this flick.

Since the announcement of the flick in the combination of Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu, expectation touched the seventh heaven. The moment the makers revealed the fact that this movie will be made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, movie analysts predicted some non-Baahubali records in and outside India. With a huge pre-release buzz, the movie did an exceptional theatrical business of almost 128 crores. After the release, the movie bagged mixed talk and it resulted in the collections. In its complete run, the movie collected a share of 40 crores from the two Telugu states. Tamil version, rest of India and Overseas aggregated another 28.9 crores of shares. All in all, the movie generated a revenue of 68.9 crores of shares leaving the distributors in 50+ crores of losses. The movie ended up being the biggest disaster in Tollywood as well as in Mahesh Babu’s career pushing Brahmotsavam to second place.

Mahesh Babu is hoping to get back with an Industry hit with his Bharat Ane Nenu. Director Koratala Siva’s Srimanthudu collected 90 crores of shares and now Bharat Ane Nenu has the potential to cross 100 crores shares mark if it hits the right chord with the common audience.
