Andhra Court directs BJP Leader to pay Rs.1 crore Compensation to Daughter-in-law

Former AP BJP President Kanna Lakshminarayana, his wife and his son was ordered by court to pay Rs 1 cr as a compensation to his daughter-in-law. Going into the story, in a related domestic abuse case, Vijayawada court ordered Kanna Lakshminarayana and his wife and son to pay the Rs 1cr amount to his daughter-in-law and the court also directed the police to provide protection to the petitioner. The court stated in the judgement that if the respondents did not pay the amount in three months, they would have to pay with 12% interest.
