On Monday, a court in Adilabad district sentenced a former AIMIM Leader to life imprisonment for killing a man and injuring two others in 2020. A fast-track court in Adilabad found Mohammed Farooq Ahmed found guilty of murdering a former counselor Syed Zameer and injuring his brother Syed Mannan and his nephew Syed Mohtesin. Farooq was also fined with Rs 12,000 by the court.
