India bans 54 Chinese Apps as a matter of National Security

According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Indian Government has banned 54 Chinese apps on Sunday as a matter of National security risk. Beauty Camera Selfie Camera, Sweet Selfie HD, Garena Free Fire – Illuminate, Viva Video Editor, Tencent Xriver, Onmyoji Arena, AppLock, and Dual Space Lite are among the applications that have been blocked. It is said that the 54 banned apps were misusing sensitive user data which pose a security risk to the country. It is known that in June of last year, India banned more than 50 apps including the most popular social media sites like WeChat, TikTok and many more as a matter of National security.
